End Edit:

On March 8th, I did a tele-seminar where I discussed how I had built an email list of over half-a-million.

I recorded that call, and while it’s at the audio editor and transcriptionist, I decided to post a free copy of the MP3 here for you. It will only be here for a few days because I will use the audio in a product that I will be selling.

The free copy of the audio does not come with any rights. It’s for you personal use ONLY.

Product Launch Formula - Seldom Discussed Product Launch Secrets

Monday, March 10th, 2008

Seldom Discussed Product Launch Secrets
Copyright 2008 by Willie Crawford

I recently partnered with a programmer friend (David
Schwartz) to launch a new PDF brander that I’m convinced
could be my most successful product ever.   Given that
this PDF brander is so inexpensive, that’s a pretty big
statement.

The PDF brander is called Viral Document Toolkit, and
as I mapped out a “product launch formula” or “product
launch strategy,” I made a few notes to share with you.

Over the years, I’ve helped to launch many successful
products, and I’ve also watched many product launches
fizzle or never even get off the launch-pad.

Here are some of the seldom discuss, or under-emphasized,
factors that you need to consider when mapping out your
own product launch formula.

1) Existing Proven Demand

Of all of the factors that I look for in a new product …
proven, existing demand is the one element that I
consider essential.  Having to educate your market as to
why they need a product, or even what it does, is too much
of an uphill battle.

With the Viral Document Toolkit, I had been monitoring
conversations on popular discussion forums for years, and
knew that the market wanted a new PDF brander with  the
features Viral Document Toolkit offers.

Just as importantly, I had been searching for a PDF brander
that could do the things that Viral Document Toolkit does.
Since this was a “personal pain” that I had experienced, I
deeply understood exactly what the market was looking for.
When you can offer a  product that the market wants AND you
fully understand their needs and wants, then your product
launch can be almost effortless.

When you understand the pains of the marketplace based on
personal experience, you can more easily express those pains
in language that resonates with your ideal customers.

2) Difficult To Duplicate

If a product is too easy to duplicate or reverse engineer,
you’ll have copycats under-pricing you before your launch
is in full swing.

You’ll expend a lot of energy and resources to make the market
more acutely aware of a “solution to a pressing problem” only
to have someone else tap into the energy you created, and
then  dissipate it by under-pricing your product.

With Viral Document Toolkit, I used the difficulty and pain
endured just in creating the software as an indicator that
it would be relatively difficult to reverse engineer. At the
same  time, much of the products development was shrouded in
secrecy to give us a bigger “head-start” on the competition
who might  eventually figure it out.

3) Sense Of Product Ownership

A product launch requires joint venture partners, and they are
often much easier to recruit if they have a stake in the success
of the product.

One way to accomplish this is to put them IN the product.
Include interviews, audios, videos, or bonuses that were
provided by prospective joint venture partners. For them to
help create a  product, and then not promote it, would create
tremendous dis-ease within them on a psychological level.

What would be causing the discord would be inconsistency in
their behavior. They indicated that they believed in the
product enough to help create it, yet they don’t believe in
it enough to promote it. Their subconscious minds would
likely resolve this conflict by pushing them to promote the
product… provided it is a qualityproduct.

4) Persistence

This factor is very under-rated in the success of any online
product launch. Your potential joint venture partners are
often victims of information overload and task saturation.
They often tentatively agree to promote your product, but soon
become absorbed in more urgent tasks.

By persistently reminding them of your launch, the fact that
time is running out, and that they did  commit to promote it,
you gently nudge joint venture partners towards actually
promoting your product.

In “the product launch formula,” persistence often means the
difference between a product that is promoted by “Mr. Big” and
a product that no one promotes.

5) A Well Mapped-Out Plan

You need a well mapped-out plan that identifies all of the
players, tools, tactics and timing.  Nothing should be left
to chance.

Conditions beyond your control will appear, and you have to
adjust,  but you need to begin with a plan that you assume
will be executed flawlessly!

My friend Jeff Walker has the most thorough planning process
that  I’ve ever seen. He has it in a course called “Product
Launch Formula
.”   When I first went  through Jeff’s Product
Launch Formula
, I embraced  everything that he taught, and
instantly adopted his habit of  mind-mapping.

I credit Jeff, and how he used mind-mapping software with
making flowing-out a product launch so easy that once you
start the process, there is no question of  what to do next.

Since I spent 17 years flying military cargo aircraft, often
flying to distant airdrop targets with split second timing, I
really  appreciate planning what you’re going to do, and then
carrying out  your plan. When I flew airdrop missions, it was
expected that you would fly 2 - 18 hour flights over
challenging terrain and arrive at a precise set of coordinates
in the air within seconds of when you planned on being there.

I now often map out, and carry out, product launches with that
degree of precision.  I encourage you to do the same.  I also
encourage you to check out Jeff’s Product Launch Formula.
It’s temporarily off the  market,  but he plans on releasing
a version 2 soon!

If you want to monitor the release, and confirm where you can
get the best  deal on it, I encourage you to visit:
http://BestProductLaunchFormulaBonus.com

In any event, incorporate the five seldom discussed product
launch  secrets listed above into your projects.  Since so
few of your competitors  use them, you will  have a tremendous
advantage :-)

Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula - Do YOU Really Need It?

Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula - Do YOU Really Need It?
by Willie Crawford

One of the hotter topics in “internet marketing land”
right now is Jeff Walker’s soon to be released Product
Launch Formula 2.0
.  The buzz is building partly because
a lot of people who fell in love with the first edition
of Product Launch Formula are wondering what is different.

I first got a hint at what is different at Rich Schefren’s
seminar in Orlando, February 24th - 26th. Jeff spoke
there, and then I got to talk briefly with Jeff Walker,
and his brother Jon about the product.

Product Launch Formula was released in early 2006, and
a LOT has changed in those 2 years. Many leading internet
sites today were but ideas back then… if that. So one
of the things Jeff does is address what’s changed… things
like Web 2.0 which I use A LOT!

Back to the question of do you need it.

Since I’m releasing several of my own products this year,
and do routinely use things that I learned in the first
edition of Product Launch Formula, my answer for whether
or not I need it is YES.

I see it adding hundreds of thousands of dollars to
my bottom-line this year.

I will add that I’m a person who takes massive action.
I read about something, analyze it, and then decide
whether or not to use it, and if I decide to do it,
I use it immediately.

I actually roll that new strategy, tactic or tool into
how I operate day in day out.

If you are someone who really prefers just thinking
about doing a product launch, but prefer the discomfort
of not actually ever doing anything, then this course
is definitely NOT for you.

Another phenomena that I observer is people who “watch”
someone who explains that Jeff Walker coached them
through a product launch, or that they’ve used Jeff
Walker’s Product Launch Formula in rolling out a
product, and they attempt to figure out what product
launch formula teaches from a distance.

I don’t think that works in most things that you
observe and try to learn online. You miss too many
key elements.

The Product Launch Formula is a lot more than lining up
a bunch of joint venture partners.

It often starts MONTHS before you are aware that
anything is happening.

When I go back and look at some of the biggest
product launches or even my interaction with Jeff,
I see just how deep a product launch goes.  I first
met Jeff in 2003.  I first met John Reese in 2003.
I first met many of the people who did MAJOR product
launches in 2005 - 2007 YEARS before and they were
learning from each other and teaching each other
things back then.

At Rich Schefren’s recent seminar, Frank Kern shared
much of how “The Product Launch Formula” has evolved
over the years. He shared how the techniques and even
what was possible has changed drastically over the
last few years.

I really still haven’t answered the question of whether
YOU need  the new Product Launch Formula 2.0.

To decide that, you need to read up on the product,
watch the videos that you’ll find here:
http://www.productlaunchformula.com

And then decide.

After you decide, if you decide that the product is
right for you, then you need to decide who to get the
product from. Since the product will be the same no
matter who you get it from, that means that you need
to look at the bonuses.

I honestly believe that the Best Product Launch Formula
Bonus is here. It includes a solo mailing to 120,000
a live 2-day seminar, one-on-one live consulting so that
you can make sure that your strategy is right, and the
experience of someone who has helped to launch numerous
big ticket products over the past decade.

Product Launch Formula Launch Slipped - You Have More Time To Grab The Absolute Best Bonuses

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

You may have heard the the launch of Product Launch Formula 2 has  slipped.

I’ve heard that it is now scheduled for March 25th… the day before my birthday.

That’s good in some ways and it also gives you more time to get prepared to really get the most benefit out of Product Launch Formula 2 by orchestrating the details of your solo mailing to 120,000… which is the most valuable bonus that I’ve seen.

I’m considering dissecting some of the other bonus offers to show you their true value, but I don’t want to take shots as a low as a politician.  I think that you’re savvy enough to see the true value of my bonuses.

Already 10 “Sales” For The Best Bonus For Product Launch Formula 2!

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

Wow! Even though the launch is still “a few days” offer, I’ve had 10  people tell me that they definitely want in.

They all wanted to tentatively lock in dates for their solo mailings.  If you’re leaning towards grabbing “The Best Product Launch Formula 2.0 Bonus” then don’t wait!

It’s not locked in until the sale kicks off and you actually order according to the instructions that I’ll send you, so that we ensure that I get credit for the sale, BUT you can go ahead and submit a ticket at my help desk letting me know that you’re decisive, and therefore want to get your solo mailing scheduled early.

Just submit a ticket here, and use the first “category.”  You don’t need to register or anything.

Then I’ll be back in touch with you for some early coordination.

How To Build An Internet Marketing List Of Over 100,000

How To Build An Internet Marketing List Of Over 100,000
Copyright 2008 by Willie Crawford

In anticipation of an upcoming launch of Jeff Walker’s
Product Launch Formula 2
, I told my list that I was
going to offer a solo mailing to one of my lists of
over 120,000.  This immediately started a flood of
emails asking how they could order early… something
that I anticipated.

The second flood of emails asked how I had managed to
build such a huge database.  Rather than answering
that second question in individual emails, I decided to
answer it with this article.

First of all, I should point out that I’ve been in
business online since late-1996, and have been slowly
building my lists almost since the very beginning.
So, I didn’t accomplish this overnight.  Still, I
know that you can build a huge list rather quickly
if you use the right techniques.

Here are some of my favorite list-building techniques:

1)  Put a sign-up form on every page of your websites,
except for direct sales pages where it would interrupt
the flow too much.  Next to that sign-up form, give
a powerful reason why they need to join your list,
and ask them to take action.

Next to the sign-up form, assure them that you will
protect them from spam.  Also post a few testimonials
as proof of  the value your newsletter provides.

2)  Write information-packed articles and distribute
them everywhere appropriate.  I’ve written over
850 information-packed article on the topic of
Internet marketing.  Those articles demonstrate
my expertise, share useful information, and bring
visitors to my websites ready to join my lists.

I believe in sharing a lot of cutting edge
information in my articles.  Many people only drop
hints, but I’m not afraid of sharing too much. The
reason is that knowledge grows exponentially, and
since I’m constantly learning new things, I can
never teach you everything that I know.

Since I don’t fear running out of useful information
that you will value, my articles are genuinely
helpful, and that generates lots of loyal subscribers.

3)  Write information-packed, inexpensive ebooks and
then allow affiliates to sell them for most of the
profit.

I create a steady stream of ebooks - largely
expansions of my articles - and then I set up
affiliate programs where affiliates earn as much
as 100% commission.  Money is a great motivator
for getting others to send you lots of new
“paying” customers and subscribers

My favorite tool for setting up these “ebook traffic
magnets” is Sid Hale’s Rapid Action Profits script.
This script allows you to set up a system where an
affiliate earns INSTANT commissions which are paid
directly to their Paypal accounts.

High commissions are a great motivator for people to
send you new potential subscribers. When those
commissions are paid instantly to affiliates who often
have cash-flow problems, it’s like pouring gasoline on
a fire.

You’ll find Sid’s Rapid Action Profits System at:
http://TheRealSecrets.com/RapidActionProfits/

4) Run pay-per-click campaigns… when the math makes
sense.  This is something that I don’t see a lot of
my competitors doing.  However, when I know that my
conversions rates or backend profits are sufficient,
I often run pay-per-click ads… sometimes even for
free items.

With pay-per-clicks, you need to closely monitor your
results.  You also need a good idea of the lifetime
value of a new customer or subscriber. To me, it
makes perfect sense to lose a dollar to gain a new
highly qualified subscriber.

If you’re paying attention, you’ll notice numerous
Internet marketers who run promotions where they pay
a dollar or more for referrals who simply opt-in to
a list. I essentially do the same thing when using
pay-per-clicks.  With pay-per-clicks you reach new
subscribers who may not already be on a dozen other
marketers’ lists.

5) Use free giveaways where appropriate. I contribute
to, and help to promote free giveaways, when they are
well managed and the quality is high.  I’ve built
large lists doing this and have a friend who got
over 5000 subscribers from one of his first giveaways.
I’ve written about how I do that many times before.

The key with free giveaways is that you need to
offer a gift of high enough value that your new
subscribers instantly bond with you. You still have to
develop the relationship, but your gift should start
it on a positive note.

Many people who participate in free giveaways offer
“absolute garbage.”  Once their new subscriber downloads
their free “gift” and look through it, they HAVE to
feel insulted.

My rule is to always offer a gift that’s good
enough to sell. I was humored when, in one recent
giveaway, I contributed resale rights to one of
my new ebooks, along with a rough website. Before
the giveaway was even over, at least one fast-acting
individual had my ebook set up using the Rapid
Action Profits script mentioned in number three,
above.

6) Give away free viral ebooks. Write ebooks on topics
that you know a lot of people are interested in. In
those ebooks recommend specific solutions to problems,
and include affiliate links to buy those products.
Make some of those links rebrandable.

If the ebooks are filled with lots of useful
information, AND they have links that can be
rebranded, then you have an ebook that should go
viral. People are incentivized to spread it!

In these ebooks, offer some type of a free bonus…
perhaps an audio recording, or a template, or free
piece of software, but require readers to visit your
website to get this bonus.  On your site, require
them to register, or join your mailing list, to get
the freebie.

If the original ebook delivered tremendous value, then
the new potential subscriber will have no objection
to joining your list. If the free ebook offered marginal
value, then they have to assume that your other “gift”
will be more of the same, and so they won’t subscribe.

For creating viral ebooks, I recommend using the
“Viral Document Toolkit” a next-generation PDF brander
created by David Schwartz.  The Viral Document Toolkit
allows you to easily create rebrandable documents where
you can specify links, and text that can be rebranded.
You can even specify rather large BLOCKS of text as
rebrandable… and even rebrand hyperlinked images!

You create a rebrandable ebook, and then pass along
the ebook (with most parts locked, but some parts
changeable) along with the rebrander tool, to your
subscribers, website visitors, customers, etc.  Since
they can profit from changing the ebook, they happily
spread it, and in the process build you a huge list.

You’ll find the Viral Document Toolkit at:
http://ViralDocumentToolkit.com

David finished testing the Viral Document Toolkit
software March 1st, 2008, so you’ll be using a tool
that 99.9% of your competitors will have never seen.  VDT
is actually so revolutionary that NO ONE other than a
few of David’s closest friends have even been allowed
to touch it, until now.

If you make your new viral ebooks good enough, you may
be pleasantly surprised to see your competitors promoting
them ;-)

6) Take massive action and do it immediately.  One of
my secrets to building my database so large is that
when I’m shown a new tool or technique, and it passes
“the common sense test,” then I put it to immediate use…
provided it doesn’t distract me from something more
urgent that I’m already working on.

Many of my contemporaries, and subscribers, complained
about having no list as long as five years ago. Many
of them still use that same excuse for why they’ve
not made any real business growth progress.

I’m not sure why this is since all of the techniques that I,
and that many of my mentors use, are so simple… and even
obvious!

The key is not to over-analyze things. That traps
you into “paralysis by analysis.”  Instead, get into
the habit of doing while others are still “thinking
about  it.”

My friend, Dr. Joe Vitale, taught me that “money
loves speed!”

I’ve just shared with you some of the techniques
that I’ve used to build a massive subscriber database.
Of course, I can’t cover every technique that I use
in this short article.  I will close by sharing that
part of the key to growing your list is actually
retaining the subscribers after you get them. To do
that, you merely need to deliver tremendous content
telling them how to solve their most pressing
problems.

Simple - right?

Solo Mailing Are Not For Sale Separately

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

I’ve had half-a-dozen people email asking if they can simply purchase a solo mailing from me, paying whatever commission I’d earn on their purchases of Product Launch Formula 2.0 .

The answer is “no” because my reason for offering this bonus is to actually help a few people to USE Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula to launch or relaunch their products.

I also secretly want to do well in the affiliate sales contest. It’s a bit of an ego thing I suppose.

The bonuses are only available to those who purchase the Product Launch Formula from me.

Quite frankly, I can do a solo mailing to my list at any time and earn many times the commission that I’d earn from a sale of Product Launch Formula. It’s about much more than the money.

I’m doing it to an extent to reward those who are ready for success, and are willing to take action rather than just “thinking about it.”

I do also hope that a few of these customers may need my JV brokering services, although I’m extremely picky about the joint ventures that I broker because they are so labor intensive, and because I can only do a few major ones each year.

Early Signups For The Solo Mailing

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

I’ve already had 7 people tell me that they DEFINITELY plan on  getting Product Launch Formula 2.0 through my affiliate link.  They were ALL interested in the solo mailing.

I can’t take orders for Jeff’s product early but I am willing to schedule your mailing based upon a promise, if you also commit to making the purchase on the first day of Jeff’s launch.  That’s because, as soon as people start emailing me about their orders I need to start scheduling firm mailing dates.

The best way for you to let me know that you’re committed to this purchase is via my helpdesk at http://WillieCrawford.com/helpdesk/

At my helpdesk simply click on the “open a new ticket” link

Then select the first category from the drop-down menu  when filing the ticket.  That category sends a note directly to me.

You do NOT need to register or anything to fill out a help ticket.

This will allow me to start locking in the mailing dates and also coordinating with you on what you are going to promote.  I do want your mailing to be highly successful, and also have a good feel for what my customers will buy.

I also will not promote scams or shoddy products to them. That will be one of the CONDITIONS of the solo mailing. I have to approve the offer.  If your product is something that you’d honestly buy or not feel guilty selling to your mother, then it should be ok, but I DO have an obligation to protect my subscribers.

The Best Bonus For Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula 2

Monday, March 3rd, 2008

As the buzz builds up around the impending launch
of Jeff Walker’s Product Launch Formula 2, people
will quickly begin to compare what extra bonus
incentives the different affiliates will offer.

I honestly believe that you can stop looking right
now because I don’t think that you’ll find a
comparable bonus.

I’m offering:

1) A solo mailing to my list of 120,000 internet
marketers.  This list is part of my database that it’s
taken me over a decade to build.

Few internet marketers have been engaged in serious
list-building for as long as I have. Therefore, few
marketers can offer a bonus anywhere near comparable
to this one.

It’s practically impossible to get a solo mailing to
such a targeted and HUGE list.  I’m relatively certain
that I’ll never make the same offer again.  I’m doing
it this time because I’ve been asked a LOT in the last
two years to help a lot of people launch products.

If you have the right product, and send out a well-
written email, this one bonus could MAKE your six
or seven-figure launch.

I can’t really put a value on this bonus. If you’re in
Internet marketing, then you realize that if I stated
that it could be worth $50,000  if you offer the right
product, you KNOW that I’m not exaggerating.

2)  Entry into a 2-day live seminar that Frank Garon
and I are hosting in Atlanta, Georgia on May 17th - 18th,
2008.

I’ll be posting more details on that semianar today. Frank
and I have a phone call that I want to finish up first,
because I want this semianar itself to be worth 10 Times
the cost of Product Launch Formula 2.

3) Two 1-hour telephone or in-person consultations. I’ll
sit down with you and discuss your product, you launch,
and your marketing strategy with you. I think that two
separate 1-hour sessions are best, but we may be able
to do it in one 2-hour session if that works better.

If you don’t see the value in this bonus, then it’s not
for you.  A lot of people will see the value and it will
go fast.

I am only offering a limited number of these bonuses.
I’m also doing the mailings on a first come, first-served
basis. That means that whoever commits first, gets their
mailing out first.

I still haven’t worked out a mailing schedule.  I’ll
post that here too.  I’m still discussing it with my
brain-trust at The Internet Marketing Inner Circle.
